yeah good news, but if the goverment and consumers did act guaranteed the goverment with try to impliment changes and shore fishing aswell... considering we bring in more fish that a trawler in half the time lolSpecies: Cod, Bass, Coalie, Flounder, Dab, Rockling, Mackerel, Plaice, Pollock, Ballen Wrasse, L/S Scorpion, Common Blenny, Weaver (unfortunately), Whiting, Common Eel, Trout, Pike... think that's it

That's why we have to fight our corner and show that we are not causing the damage, get the consumer on side as well as the other organisations fighting for Marine reserves.
Greenpeace are one group who are actually on our side on this!
Groups are already looking at what revenue we bring to the economy, and if there is anything the govt like more than anything it's Money!"And I looked, and behold'a pale horse; and his name that sat on him was death, and hell followed with hi, and power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword and with hunger, and with the beasts of the earth"

The "Look at Norway" argument is a really strong argument for proving how much money well maintained fisheries can produce through angling tourism; or even if you look further afield to America and Australia where they have established fishery systems that have been designed for the Angling Tourist
I've said before that RSA Boat anglers may sometimes go out and bag up but not always; and there are nil discards and virtually nil destruction to the marine environment below...
...and as to RSA shore anglers - don't make me laugh coz we catch even lessOoh a new vid!
