sonik not a clean beach rod!!!
i have the 13ft6 multipler 4-6oz (SK4SR010) and use it for most of my fishing situations on clean ground and it brilliant, i would be very wary about using it for very heavy ground....although i have pulled out of kelpy snaggs with it....up to now i cant fault it, find it an excellent casting rod and it has very good bite detection..for the price you cant beat it especially with the guarantee they offer with it...keep it swinging

The SK4 14'ft is a rough ground rod. Don't know if this is the same one yr talking about sage. My mate uses one and trust me knows his stuff! He rates it as one of the best rods hes used in them situations and lives on the rock ends!
both models made by Sonik........both excellent rods imho....sagekeep it swinging

Adam, The top end of the ABU range are good beach rods and cost a lot less than £200. I've used one of their older models (Ambassador Elite) for about 8 years now with no problems (casts well, shows bites well & brings in larger fish). It's served well on mixed ground also, but I use a different rod for rocks.
I would guess the same could be said for Daiwa and others already mentioned on here.
Hope you get sorted.
