  • Bottom at Horden

One for the Horden lads, what's the bottom like in the bay these days? I've not fished there for yonks (think last September was my last time down there) and fancy a look down in the near future.

Last time I fished there were a few snags around the White Rock area but it seemed a bit cleaner towards the blocks. But there's been a few canny storms since then so it's no doubt changed. Any info helpful, don't fancy getting down there with my casting reels and 15lb line to find I'm getting snagged up all the time.

(Oh and what's the shelf like as well? Is it still a bugger to climb up and do you get pushed right up against it on big tides?)

Changes after every sea Stewart, it's never too snaggy. Nice mixed ground just left of Tommy's rock. You can see the holes nearer bottom water and it fishes early flood despite there not being much water there. Fishes well on block tides too
