Personally, I don't even bother replying to any post that uses it as I can't be bothered to de-cypher it.
Have a bit of respect for people on here and type it properly, after all, we do. That way, you may get some advice.Davy

Only kidding mate, I know what you mean.
My Lasses Nephew started texting me and i have to ask her to decypher it. If i try myself takes me 10-20 minutes, by that time I've got another 4 messages lol
I'm 23 and don't understand it, I rarely use shortened versions of words in texts.
The nephew just started calling me uncle so i can't just ignore the texts but he's at that text stage where "what are you upto tonight? i'm just on my computer" turns into this "wotr u up2 2nt m jus on m cmput" If we had this in World War II german's would of forgot about trying to decypher it lol
(The message was a joke turned into 3 paragraphs of rambling... Sorry)Species: Cod, Bass, Coalie, Flounder, Dab, Rockling, Mackerel, Plaice, Pollock, Ballen Wrasse, L/S Scorpion, Common Blenny, Weaver (unfortunately), Whiting, Common Eel, Trout, Pike... think that's it

thats stupid, your saying because you type like that it makes you a real geordie, personally just a slow one. I'm a geordie and type/talk correctly, yes i've got my geordie slang under my belt but that doesnt mean that that i have to spell like a child.
I'm not meaning to have a go but you saying that your a proper geordie because you can't spell is astounding
EDIT: sorry for being angry before but saying that the reason you type/talk like that is because your a geordie is discriminating and actually offensive.Last edited by SnaggedUpLad; 18-01-2009, 08:47 PM.Species: Cod, Bass, Coalie, Flounder, Dab, Rockling, Mackerel, Plaice, Pollock, Ballen Wrasse, L/S Scorpion, Common Blenny, Weaver (unfortunately), Whiting, Common Eel, Trout, Pike... think that's it
