Horden beach 13/01/09

I was down horden beach fishing lastnight and i finally caught my first codling of the year, it was 2lb, my first of the year, 13/01/09 not unlucky for me ha ha -i know this is not massive by anyones standards ,but when you have been out in all kinds of weather for 3 weeks and caught nothing, it is such a relief to finally catch something , i also caught a nice whitey, 3/4 of a pound there was a few other anglers there but i don't know if any one else caught anything

took pups for a wander down there last night, saw a couple people fishing, having the loons with me and the closest lad having a springer i decided not to go see if anything being caught, nice to hear not everyones having a bad time
