Would you say Blyth beach and pier are LW shots or HW? Considering fishing the flood on Thursday night but not sure wether it's the right time to fish it

They can fish at either state of the tide. I prefer to fish the south and middle part of the beach over low water, looking for gullies where the sandbanks are. If you fish it at high water, head up further to the ranch or the concrete pipe by the chip shop car park.
I’ve not see the sea today but looking at the wind, I guess the sea will be too rough for most of the beach. Sometimes the top north end gets enough shelter from the pier to make it fishable but why bother when you can go to Whitley instead.

The forecst has changed since yesterday and isn't looking too rough now so Blyth may fish. If there is still to much sea on then the north end of Whitley is the place to head for if fishing high water. Try the boat station, just down from the small car park at the chip and put, an hour or two either side of high water.
The north skeer at the top end of Whitley prom can be good mark from a few hours down if not washed or weeded out.
