  • 22lb pig

    read the chronicle today and a 22 pounder was reported from hendon (the docks, i don't know)
    appologies if it has already been reported as am not sure when.

    it was a good fish i know that i was in the area at the time it was caught right on low water the size i couldnt say i was at some distance but i heard the shouts of welldoness at the time and seen some photo shoots going on i later heard a day or 2 later it was returned there and then welldone that man awesome fish

                  always nice to see what the lads catch, think it gives us the more reason to go wet a line, especially when your own sessions been dismal for a couple weeks lol, though you got to admit when you see something that size comes out you cant help feeling at least a little bit green

                  as to me chucking it back, if i caught it, think i would still be stood there in disbelief tbh

                  fond memory when i was at school ( god thats a long time ago) mate took a 25lb pike from bala lake, he was still taking it around all the lads in a wheelbarrow posin with it three days later

                  post the pic, im sure my lappy can handle the drool

                    yes i knew about this ,i pm charlton asking if heed heard about it a short while back , i heard he let it go thats class and i was over the moon when i heard ,if i never ate them id return it also but erm a like a bit cod

                        but eating a fish that big wouldnt be as nice as eating a fillet from a 2 lb er

                          i have read somewhere that commercial boats like the smaller codling for that reason , why does cod taste better like that ? is it like the lamb / mutton type of thing ie younger tender meat ??
