    Where is fishing north of the tyne that's is easy to get to by car and no rod stand needed as I don't have one yet

    Not many places where you won't need a stand unless you're holding it. Amble pier has railings and is an easy place to fish. Not much doing there like.

        Smiths docks in North Shields is car accessible and has railings for a rod rest
