mick im not gonna try to describe it, they're crap in my opinion i find that the two snoods get tangled a lot resulting in missed bites.

I tried one of these once, it's sort of like a paternoster, with another snood attached half way down the rig body, and they both clip down at the bottom. It just ended up in lots of tangles and I never caught anything on it.

I only find these work OK when there is no surf on and there is a small or madium tide otherwise tangles ahoy.
A bad days fishing is better than a good day at work.

Might be ok for calm summer fishing when there is not much movement in the water.
But other then that it will as people ahve said, just a mess.

The only way this rig works properly
is if you put the top hook onto a
9" wire boom and this keeps the 2
lines apart. No good for beach work
only for the pier or harbour.

Agreed. I have tried these and they are absolute pants. I'm amazed that they are still doing the rounds.

                      bomb rig

i make make my own,on the top snood i add a little bit of tube.it does help stop tangles, and they have been pretty productive in the summer months.

they are a riug that can at times outfish all others

but they must be made using good lines and components as this stops tangles

i have used them all over the country when fishing clean ground and they work well
