Could anyone suggest a decent place to fish at the coast north of the tyne next week.(Preferably a clean ground mark as i only have rods that are suitable for the river.)Also decent rigs and bait to use at that venue

If your not after the "monster" cod, fish with light gear at top water on somewhere like blyth beach after dark, small hooks light sinkers and rag tipped with a bit of squid/fish should give a bit of sport with whiting coalies & maybe an odd small bass. Enjoy!Tides & Sea State For North Shields

Just been down there and there is a good sea on today.
It should fish well tonight.

Going to have a "scratch" myself tonight, 10 foot spinning rod, 2 oz sinker & size 1 aberdeens. Think I'll take the real rod as well as the sea has lifted a bit.
Hopefully have something to report back about.Tides & Sea State For North Shields
