if you know where temples is in whitley bay its about level at the bottom of ocean view, off the beach ,

Soz Chris saw this a few days ago. work ect didnt have the time to put in a repotr for you ,,, W/B Pipe is a low water mark , at the moment it is fishing best for Maccy but they are few and far between, your best bet is early in the morning, or just as it is getting dark.. A,M is a lot better, as the year goes on .. from now ...... you can expect,, maccy, plaice,although they all seem to be just under size a few cod 2lb+ the pollack if you are spinning through the kelp,,keep the spinner high\'ish in the water .just brushing the top of the kelp , unless you are useing 25lb nylon so you can cut through it( not reccomended) co\'s you will loose loads ,,as the year turns to winter\'\' ish the pouting start to take over a great little catch on a light spinner .... as if maccy spinning.... the cod start to come through late Oct but that was last year, whos to say what this year will bring....... I use a light to medeum rod with a abu 5000 something or other with 25lb line all the way through ,,,, I always fish just before the bend ,, If you can chuck it 40yds aiming at the lighthouse ( St Marys) you will land on a sand type sea bed ,... as you wind in make it fast as you will have to come over a kelp bed .. keep the rod high and you should get through it no probs,..... the best tides are the lower ones anything above a 1.7 or 8 dont bother unless you only want a few hours fishing,, watch the tide, there are 2 ways off ,,,,, youcan walk the lenth of the pipe and have an extra 30/ 50 mins fishing ,BUT watch your back , the other is the stairs up to the prom but as the tide comes in you will loose this unless you have waders on NOT reccomended Its very slippy ,, we THE lads have had a few good nights there so give it a try ,, we\'v caught a few and its a canny spot,, .. the end of the pipe is were everyone fishes but it is alot more snaggier If that makes sense and I dont think it\'s worthe the loss to fish ratio,,, If you find the Pipe is unfishable walk off the pipe to the panama dip its a cracking spot in the winter.. again a 40/50 yd cast , if that ,, A low tide up spot......... got to shut up now cos im giving away 2 much info,,,,, Try PAT,PENDING he\'s a local lad ,might be able to offer a little more advice
