The way the Sea is (flat as) i was thinking of giving the Tyne a shot on Monday from about 9am till about 3pm got some bait to use up. Only fished two places St Peters Basin and The River Side Park i think its called down beside Pottery Bank. So i to would would like some info on other spots on the north side - Directions, best time to fish ect. Would be a Great Help.

Fished the Tyne at River Side Park Monday 9-15am till 1-30pm, not a bite the bait was coming back untouched the crabs didnt even bother. Bait used Rag - Mussell - Macky & Peeler, St Peters Basin has been fishing after dark so ive been told.

                    ice factory, midans car park

the ice factory is a good place to fish its quite snaggy but if you cast a decent way out towards the middle of the river you should avoid them. also the beach around the corner from the quayside i think its called the midans car park which produces good flatfish all year round
