the drag slip on an abu can be a pain agreed but if its the drag getting an odd tweak to get a fish in better for me than pulling too hard and snapping line

my biggest abu is the 7000 and i think it has the worst drag of all of mine

i also have a penn 975 magged up and it is without doubt the best reel i have ever used
put .31 on and 150 gram sinker and cast for the horizon over grass or put .4 on with 3 hooks and a spider and fish in rocks , no problems at all

i have 2 6500 mag elite reels and a slosh 30
i use the mags most of the time but the slosh will pull anything in and its around 12 year old and still as quiet as when it was new

Out of my 3 reels 525 super mag - Abu 7500c3, i use my slosh 30 the most carnt fault it realy.

Slosh30 gets my vote as a good all rounder and for the £££££'s is very good value.
