    hello lads iv been looking at the daiwa supercast sts13pm for fishing the beaches on our coast . it said in the sea angler that it was a good starter rod i use a zziplex zetec for my rough ground work but would like some info on beach rods in the region of £100 /£200 for getting some distance any ideas lads .cheers steve

        Can't comment on the sts13pm but if it's anything like the Supercast Bass it'll be lovely and smooth. Got mine about two years ago after my TDPK Bass got smashed and lovely replacement. Heard that they are a nice beach rod.

          It might not be what your after but theres some canny second hand rods kicking about, me m8 got a second hand century kompressor- great rod for a fraction of the cost of a new one.
