They say a lot of things to sell there rods 😄. I had the 16ft tripplex and found it fine in the Tyne and clean beaches but it was a very soft rod, will chuck 6 oz and bait though.

Pop dwn my way the triplex, the lads like e'm for the clean sand n fxd spools with braid, soft n floppy imo but very pop none the less, better with 5oz's n bait but like above will do 6oz n bait but not good for 7oz's n big swells(nightmare in the wind too).

There's a lad on the whitby forum called ben laws who uses them peter. He's uses his in the kelp, bempton and flambro cliffs, pulling 6lbers up the cliffs and fish upto 13lb out the kelp on them.
                        Regards Nicky.

                              little update
found a ebay shop selling this rod for £269-99 free delivery or make best offer
I googled the rod and found a shop selling it for £225-00
offered this to ebay shop saying ive found it for this price
he replys saying the shop must have made a mistake in there listing as its the 14ft rod that's that price
he then says if I offer £254-99 he would accept
I got in touch with the shop selling for 225-00 and there out of stock,so I thought id just pay the 254-99 so offered that
he then gets back to me asking for £265-00 with free deliverey(it has free delivery anyway)
I google his shop and he has it on there for £229-49
was going to just buy it there but think ill look elsewhere
