  • Kompressor s and ss

What is the S like in the rough ground and big seas?

Want to get one of the 2 but not sure if SS is too stiff for what i like.

Is there much difference between the two

I find the ss a bit of a poker mate. Didnt think the tip was as good at Registering bites as the sport. Good in the rough kelp beds... Found the sport to be softer all around but a very capable rod for mixed - light rough ground.... Certainly capable of fishing the majority of the marks up here. It's a bit more versitile than the ss but if rough ground is your normal marks then get the ss. Doubt you would find many issues whatever you bought!

I used an s in heavy ground and it was fine. The difference between the s and ss as far as I'm aware is a sweeter tip and slightly softer mid section on the s. From what I gather the butts are the same.

Loved my ss shame I got rid of it. The ss is no way over gunned they do bend and are not as stiff as some people may think.
