Yep, pretty good rods, the only Zziplex that's up to fishing real rough ground. I think some of the other Zzippies that are advertised as "rough ground" models are for those fishing down the south-east, where a few pebbles on the beach might qualify as "rough ground". I prefer other rods as a more all-round fishing tool though.

        my turn now
i have 3 century ttrs 1 century crest 1 wr300 1 zipplex zti and a zipplex bulit .I problbly fish more than most on the site 4/5 nights a week so i have more than tested them all.So ttrs very stiff the fishing i do mostly heavy ground well worth the money nothing come close to this for the heavy stuff .the zipplex zti is a nicer cassting rod but lack the outright poke for heaving fish out kelp and boulders. The bullit in my opinion is for clean ground and possible mixed this is the best casting rod of the lot but is soft not ideal for the north east heavy ground but it has alresdy been said down south is a different heavy ground to what we have got so in MY opinion the ttr is the best by far also i think the zipplexs go soft far quicker than the centurys

Primo and primo syncro same tips but syncro has stiffer butt . Match has softer tip .

Thanx BOB for info, my primo (ordinary) has 6ft powertex butt, i thought that was stiff, seems syncro even stiffer WOW
That's why syncro is rated med to heavy ground rod. I shall try and buy a syncro butt section on the Wanted forum, hopefully someone some where has one for sale at a fair price, then mine should be suitable for St Marys Island, or in a rougher sea, Thanx again BOB, Kind regards, Mambo
