eyemouth
Went to the estuary in Berwick on Saturday. I used squid & lug and caught two big crab & two baby Pollock.
I decided to try the back of Eyemouth caravan park for a couple of hours but it was no good for bait fishing as I lost six leads, so switched to spinning but still nothing. It didn't help that there were lobster pots about 15ft in front so when the waves started and it turned in to a ice rink I decided to try the harbour. I fished for about an hour but still didn't catch, just little sprats trying to get the squid on the way back in.
On the way back along the harbour there was two big fat seals so since I had some squid left I decided to throw a rotten one down. It landed right on its head with the tentacles hanging over its face. Wish I had taken a pic as it looked just like Vanessa Feltz!
