  • Enough Movement?

Looking at the webcam there seems to be a little surf going on...is it enough though to warrant having a fish on the beach tonight? or should I mebbes head for the river?

Anyone had a "real" look at the sea today?

    Cheers in advance
    Ooh a new vid!

looks good to me, but again this is just via web cams, if it was low water tonight i'd be straight on the beach mate, but going to have a shot of target since its high water tonight, get yourself over if you fancy it, mind you it might be a bit cramped as there's 3 of us going already lol.

I have taken all you have said into consideration...and bearing in mind your recent record of telling us where to fish...I think I'll stay in the house

By that do you mean it could be a hassle with floating debris? or that there could be a chance of fish with a load of "foody" type stuff having been disturbed? or both LOL

I fish Blyth a lot and when the weed is bad it is a pain.
Fish will never find your bait as it is buried under weed almost as soon as it hits the water.
I have found it is very patchy though, move a 100 yards and sometimes the sea is clear

                      Alright all,

I am thinking of giving Tynemouth beach or king edwards a shot tonight (6 til10), having not fished the beaches in this area before any suggestions would be welcolm I have heard that there is a big hole on tynemouth that is worth a shot.

                      Cheers

there is plenty movement for tynemouth or anywhere else, try the bottom of the stair north end of the beach or the middle of the beach just past barge bottom as there looks a canny hole there, either way good luck to you all

The Oxfauld could fish tonight also as well as the prom over the edge of King Edwards Bay. The Rex prom could also be a good shout with a bit of a roll on.

only problem tonight is the tides are small the sumps could be worth a try to as could the bottom of the stairs at hartley if you got an oxygen mask handy when you climb up them again
