  • Cambois pier risky???

    Looking for advice on access,
Fished it regular bout 15-20 years ago & managed it ok!
But......... Being 45 overweight with dodgy knees is it gonna be too much like an assault course to get on or is it manageable?
I remember having to climb round railings then drop to lower pier walk for a bit & climb back into top.
    Has it changed??
Was hoping for a ghost train style car & tracks to take me to the end! I'm happy to pay £2 for a ticket

Been a couple of years since I was on and it was a nightmare then climbing over or around fence's then up and down levels and having to climb this and that by the time I got to the end I was to knackered to fish lol

access is difficult to say the least. both fences now been blocked up, new spikes put on 2nd fence. burglar grease to contend with. then if you manage this. make sure you d not fall through the holes where lots of planks are missing and with hardy no railing left. what is left is rusty and not the best.

if you can manage all of the above get yourself on otherwise i would stay well clear. plus it s along session on at low water off at low water.
