I accidentally dropped my Penn 525mag2, I thought I had just scratched the bronze trim plate. On closer inspection the frame is cracked. Not something I would have expected from the level of knock.
I have read on Nesa others asking for Penn 525 frames, is this a common problem.
Penn cages & side plates are made of cheese - had a few side plates crack on my old 525s and a brand new 535 broke it's cage on it's first outing, Ditched the lot in favour of Saltists about 5 years ago & never looked back!
