  • Tyne area cod 20lb ?

    anybody got any details name. weight etc of the cod

    there's a lad on here saying it was weighed at billys
    north east - anyone catching over the weekend,if so where? ><

      cheers Tony couldnt find that thread, spoke to Billy, he knew nothing about it, apprently it was weighed at Reelsports, would appreciate any info.

        Hi Alan, i heard it was weighed at reelsport also, but i did not weigh it, however i have a pic sent by someone, no name, caught on Tynemouth last monday 24lb.

        When i saw the photo for some reason i seem to think i have seen it before thats why i have said nowt.
        There is supposed to be video footage which is going to be sent to me.

        Will let you know when i have more info

          have heard that it could of been the one caught off Tynemoputh Pier last year and there has been a bit of confusion over it. Have just sent you a photo of the cod caught last year so you can compare to see if it is the same one.

                im now starting to think this is a load of s**t as ive been told the fish was caught on saturday, sunday, and monday and that is was weighed at reelsport and billys, it all sounds a bit fishy to me lol
