    just made this rig up last week i find it a very gd rig up i have had it in the river and have been pleased with what it has brought up i have had flatty ,whitey and cod the bigges what a (1bL 7oz cod ) with the swivel being free to move put the line makes the hook lies depending on the tide pull ( tell me what you think )

              Sorry mate forgot to say i have made a clip to clip the snood swivel on the the main swivel on to go in to the impact shiled but the clip realease when hitting water

                Iv'e been using a rig similar to that for a few years, i called it the up and over rig and only use it fishing over clean ground.
                It's a thin line that seperates an Angler from a madman standing on the beach in january at midnight in -5 degrees with a northerly wind blowing in your face

                    yup its an up and over rig,sometimes called a "clipped up long and low"
                    ideal for clean ground,would`nt use it where i fish though
