went this morning for another look with it being a big tide.first pic is the bit ive been told not to go on incase its gives way.i could fish from the second pic or from the very top (third pic)and if I hooked something walk down to the second pic to pull up side.i will be fishing it at high water so am I right to blast it up the middle on the on the last 2 pics
anyone fish it much ?
in your last pic m8 is a skeer running out with the bit of white water & the pot, chuck 2wards the pot so u land along the left side of the skeer. the fish if any around will follow the skeer in2 the gully along side (round rocks) the rocks 2 your left.
bill
Me uncle had 3 doubles in 4 nites from crag about 6 year back
10 1/2
12 1/4
And the biggest just over 15 gutted !
Naughty mark be careful if going 2 fish and dont go down when really wet mud path a bit slippy to get on point !
Loads of effort for little reward
But still love it
Is it just me that thinks that the first photo is the spit of looking north from the south side of Cullercoats? I was thinking "that's a big tide in the Harbour and the skeers to the north look just like the Goatsies and the Warriors and the hole before the South Crab Hill looks really empty.................... hello! - where's the South Crab Hill gone and where's that big skeer come from?"
Had me going for a while, especially as it's donkeys years since I've fished off the Crag.
