I keep hearing about a mark called the pit-shot on Seaham Hall beach. Could anyone confirm where it is ? I thought I had worked it out but confused now.

Thanks mate, I normally go down the steps from the Hall car park and fish near the ramp. Is it allowed to park on the prom ? I thought it was maybe only for club members. Planning to join the club anyway.

I was told you need to cast straight out in line with the top of the ramp onto clean ground as there are snags either side.
        Cheers.

Theres a rock edge each side with a fairly clean 40/50yds between. If you cast straight of the top of the ramp chances are you'll get snagged. Cast slightly to the right say 1 o'clock ish would be my advice. You also need to be hitting a good 80/90yds m8...........

Thanks lads, I had a scout about at low yesterday and sussed out the lay of the land. I reckon Ken got it about spot on, but I expected nothing less of course.
