I joined Seaham SAC at the weekend and am hoping to have a first session on the pier some time this week. Does anyone have any tips? Where are the hotspots? (Or if not the hotspots, are there any bits to avoid at all costs?) When does it fish best? (High tide? Low tide? Big tides? Small tides?) What's the bait like from the shops in Seaham? Am I right in thinking the only parking is back on the main road opposite the clubhouse? Is there a khazi in the harbour anywhere? Erm, that's it, I think…

I fished all last season on me own too, does get a bit bad whan you start asking yourself questions and answering them. I even had an argument with myself, trying to decide what time to pack up and go home.target of 10 codling this season and gonna try for a pig!!!!1
