Definitely looking forward to the autumn, not only for cod but for whiting too! Just bought new chest waders in preparation for the colder weather! Those things in your photograph which you wrap the rig around look really handy. Are they home made or can you buy them? I just use squares of cardboard but my rigs always get kinked. I like the look of your set up there.

NooFish, I've made a load of my rigs up aswell and have them tucked away in my rig box
I made up a few of the up and over rigs for smooth hound fishing this summer and to be honest I think I have caught most of my codling on them this summer! (No smooth hounds though LOL!!) I don't know if that's anything to do with the rig though but they seem to work for me!"In order to becomes old and wise, first you must be young and stupid."
PB. Ling - 12lb 6oz. Cod - 11lb 6oz, Coley - 3lb 6oz, Pollock - 4lb 1oz, Flounder - 1lb 11oz, Plaice - 1lb 10oz, Whiting 1lb 9oz.
North east bass fishing addict.
