alreet peeps been a long time since ive fished planning to do some over next few days . has there been any macky down seaham , horden or hartlepool piers?
any info appreciated ,...looking to stock up for the whiting fest coming soon
Went down Seaham south pier last week with my mackie tackle. The sea was too dirty so I put a 2 hook flapper on the bass rod and got into a 3 lb Codling.
No mackerel though.
Same again yesterday. Sea far too dirty and the wind blowing right in the face, looking south from the end of the pier. Too wild altogether so tried another 2 hook flapper but to no avail this time.
I guess as long as the seas dirty you won't have much chance and then winter comes in so quick from now too.
Told the missus I was going on a diet. I'd only eat what I caught
went for a bit of 'lrf'ing down the marina instead . frustrating as fish were following both isomes and sidewinders to the surface but takes were very very 'gentle' so no hook ups . no doubt i will fine tune and get a fish from the marina one find day. i will wait for the weekend and ry down horden thanks all #
