Okely Dokely friendily fokely....
I like my spinning rods as multi-purpose tools of the trade, currently using Shakespeare Targa models (bought at least half a decade ago or more) for basic all-round light fishing. Especially estuary work for flatties/chinese fish/coalies or light beach.
Soooooooo.... I've got some birthday pennies spare and can't think what to blow them on and luck would have it the latest Glasgow Angling blurb turned up yesterday. I need to pick up some hooks and other bits and pieces but would have enough spare to get the RT Zen Spin deal in the 10' (30-80gm casting) model. Anyone got this or got any views on the deal or rod range? The reel is an Okuma Razor 50 plus line and 10 Fisheagle lures (save for next years macky chasing). I don't spend much time on the rocks or beach and have all the gear I need for those, rarely ever get on a boat and the kit I bought in the 80's is still fine for that.... harbours and estuaries though are more my niche so this might get some real use....
