  • New Axe

I've tried loads of different rods now, to try and find something to go alongside my Axellerator, but haven't been as happy with any of them as I am with the Axe, so I finally decided to just get another Axe.

People who've used them seem to either love them or hate them!

As soon as you learn to compress one you'll be doing well

Canny rods mate, I'm sure they will serve you well this winter bud!

Sorry to 'sort of' hijack the thread, but, what is the difference between the old Axcellerator and the new one? I have noticed that the new ones have the number 400 on them, whereas the old ones have a lower number, I think! Three hundred and something rings a bell.
I have tried googling it but still no answer!

Is the reel seat different on the new one? I know this was an issue on older model.

I use one of these for all my rock fishing and imo it is the perfect tool for the job
