  • Winter Season over already

My useless excuse of a mrs has left my bait freezer door open and destroyed a f*****g fortune in bait. 600 peeler, 400 black lug, about 30 mackerel, 100 razor. Thats my season finished before its started. Of course its my fault and she doesnt understand why I'm so p****d off about a few crabs and some worms
To get away from dragons and catch monsters.

You know what f***s me off even more is I haven't been able to collect my own bait this year because of the baby so I've paid for everything that was in there. 600 crab at 65p each, you do the maths
To get away from dragons and catch monsters.

What about home contents insurance...couldnt the freezer have developed a fault. I know that doesnt provide an immediate answer to getting hold of some crab, but I would imagine any that are going spare will be at a premium rate especially given all this rain and the lack of crab around at the minute.

                      Sorry to hear that Sean.

Got to admit I was just gonna suggest that..gotta be better than nowt.

I'm no expert but I don't think it matters with black lug & razor.
                      Cheers, Keith.

i left a bag of a 100 out the freezer for a day last year re froze them and still caught fish with them buy bulking them up with worm or mussel etc they work simple as that

She was in the freezer 4 days ago so everything is ruined, cheers for the contents insurance idea Ali but I can't justify claiming for bait. My premium is high as it is, without a claim on it.

Sorry to hear about the news Sean. Thats some bait you had there.
I,m sure the missus will be upset.
One of the lads mentioned home insurance. It will be worth making a claim. Have a look into it. Take a couple of photos etc for the claims dept.
