pennel pulleys for me also. I use a double boom rig on the piers for whiting and coalies etc, but always a pennel pulley on the beach.

There's no such thing as the perfect Cod rig. It totally depends on the type of venue you are fishing.
If you're happy with the rigs you are using stick with them 'cos no doubt if you change you will loss the fish of a lifetime and end up blaming the new rig.

I use a Pennel pulley rig and 4/0-5/0 hooks and i also use 2 hook clipped up rigs and 2-3 hook flappers.
