Century Formula 1 + Abu 9000 C. 40lb line straight through. This combination can really handle the rough stuff.

I did try a Penn 535 but it is a little too highly geared, easy to get locked up.

im using a anyfish anywhere 6 and bait at the moment with an abu sports mag great to cast and can handle the wind ect cant fault the rod

ive a penn ppt sidewinder and a penn 525 mag to try out to just bought them along with alot of other gear

i used to use a century tip tonado spot grand prix for all fishing its a nice rod to cast if your used to the stiffer rods to cast
up to now the anywhere rod is going to be my main rod for the cod fishing (mabey untill i try the sidewinder that is lol )

i use a greys mk2 apollo and and a 525mag extra i used to use a shakespear atlantis great all round rod for £100 gets distance and dont budge in the wind also used to use a slosh 30 with that rod.
