        Right lads D-day is here, weather is going to be dry although mist is forecast around midnight, theres a good swell and a little dickie bird tells me that there were half a dozen spikey fellas caught last night

        I'll ring you all just now but please don't forget waders/wellies and I'll see you there at 7:30.............and bring a mars bar lol

            I'll give it my best bud, Can anyone who has a camera fetch one with them as mine has coffee on the inner lens so the pics will be a bit cloudy. Scott that's my number on your missed call list.

                  just left the beach at 4pm and caught nowt, however i was finding it difficult to hold bottom with a 6oz drag.

                  i really hope that you guys have better luck tonight and heres some pics i took on my phone for ya.

                    Me, Phil, Coco and Sigsy left just after midnight and at that point there were only 2 codling landed. I pulled the first 1 in, or so i thought! I had managed to catch one of Sean's snap off's and there was a codling on the end I felt the bite and thought it was mine when it came out the water only to see the other rig.

                    Phil had the other which was 1lb 4oz. Very hard work trying to hold bottom and we lost loads of rigs.

                    Good craic though and good to meet Sean and the other lads. They were giving it a couple more hours so there might be a better catch report to follow.

                            We all gave ours to Phil but not sure what happened with Sean and his mates as they were still down when we left.
