Braid- Fantastic service

I don't normally post about excellent customer service but thought I'd share this. Ordered some braid yesterday about 2pm from ebay and got a shock when it arrived today ie less than 24hrs later!! It looks the same as powerpro to me, its very thin and even better comes in 400m. Heres the ebay no for anyone

I got 20 and 40 and even got a pair of braid scissors@!
Certainly beats the chinese sh@** that tends to take weeks to arrive and is always over diameter.

Just had a butchers and looks worth a go especially at that price. No diameters on their site though which is a pain - what is the diameter on the 40lb you got?

The 20 is marked as 0.18mm and the 40 is 0.30.
micd them both and they are spot on diameters and thats a round profile!!

I asked about the same braid on Saturday as it looked good made in the uk, but be careful chukka it's only 4 strand braid I don't think I will be any better than spectra, hope I am wrong

All braid is made from the same stuff given the name dyneema/spectra woven in 4 or 8 strands. Power pro and whiplash both bei.ng 4 strands. The agepoch 8 strand is a similar price but only in 300yd and has to come from china. Much rather buy in uk and support a disabled charity which is where is where stonefisher profit apparently goes.

Yea hopefully it is good mate I have searched every were for a good quality cheaper braid as £25 a shot is a bit pricey in my eyes. Surely they could reduce the price a little, agree with you I prefer to buy in the uk to. Local if possible.

Good find chukka I bought some braid from a company called Capricorn tackle,it was £3 a spool more but in the same plastic packing only mine was badged

The diameters stated on whiplash are also wrong though, I remember reading somewhere its mic'd up flat giving false diameters.

Yea there never as low as what they claim but neither is mono, just saying the cheap spectra mono from china seems the same as this but cheaper.

I have parted brand new leader twice now using 100lb spectra wouldn't touch the stuff now.
