  • fao Gazzawill and anyone else wanting rabbits.

I'm off shooting tomorrow (Sat) how many rabbits do you want and can you come to Peterlee to collect on Sunday? If anyone else would like any drop me a pm. They're free to collector and I will have already shinned and jointed them ready for cooking.

No bother Brian, I'll let you know next time I'm out. If you're wondering why there are no kidneys its cos I ate them all lol The best part of the rabbit IMO

doubt it - i didnt get the whole animal - sean had kindly headed and skinned them - and only one out of the four that i got was holed - but it was right in the neck area - so pretty fine shooting me thinks - looks like all clean head shots were the order of the day

had to edit spelling ,cos Nev is a FCB and he also is a FWL - he could also be classed as FCBWL ,but it would have to be a downstairs house ,as the ladders might be a problem

All head shots with a .22 rimfire rifle, some of them at over 200yds. Brian if it had a hole in its neck then that will be an exit wound. If I can't hit the head then I don't fire. Pests or not they still demand a humane end. If anyone else would like any then let me know and I'll see how many I get next time I'm out.

Not with the .22, I could with the .17 It has unbelievable accuracy and distance Its actually harder to hit rabbits when they are closer believe it or not.

I've got half a dozen here that are frozen, if anyone wants them let me know. LMAO Codseeker. Tony I'll stick you top of the list mate next time I'm out, then you can pick them up when you come for that mars bar match (don't forget my mars bar lol) Alan shame you're so far away, maybe at the next northern meet I can fetch you some up.
