hi mate,i'm setting up a tank for crab i've got it connected to a green genie filter box, because i live so close to sea water quite easy to get .I have a 150 crab in there now and they look quite healthy about 40 or so are starting to pop, like you i started by keeping them in fridge with a damp cloth on them it slows the peeling process down and they and they will stop there quite happerly for a good few weeks.but it's essential to keep them damp as they take the water in and use it to push old shell off,but yours should be ok if you change water every day they dont need much just a enough to cover shell.good luck try looking at this Fishing Guernsey - Home - Species - Baits - Tactics - Where to Fish

yeah it would be better to keep them cool just depends on how quick you want to use them, they will be ok where you have them just keep changing water,a few will die just keep an eye on them.
I keep mine in the shed in a polystyrene box with lid, fresh sea water and air pump / stone. Trouble I have is, I check them, they seem no were near popping, then a few hours later I'll check again and they are completely out the shells.

yere dofo get a air pump mate, and a air stine to dispurse the air, you can get a pump for about £5 and the stones are only £1 for 2, its all ya need unless your planing on setting up a huge tank system lol
just keep the sea water fresh and the air pumping, should be out there shells before long
im asuming you know how to peal them when they pop?
gd luk
i have had some recently in the fridge for a couple of weeks ,with damp seaweed covering them,(i always give container a rinse out incase of crab legs that have snapped off which will rot and smell ) give them a drink now and then just enough to reach the hieght of the crab leave for 10 -15 mins and empty water out and leave damp seaweed in or change it for fresh if your down getting fresh sea water
