Hi All
I'm attending a couple of events friday and saturday to introduce new people to the sport of angling. In order for them to be able to participate in the long term people often ask me information about local angling clubs. The only clubs between Seaham and Blyth (area people attending are most likely to be from) I can find information on are the following. Please let me know if you know of another club and contact information so I can add it to the list. Before there's any paranoia or doubters this is not an official document which will seek to govern any form of fishing - it is purely some information to give out to the general public which could possibly boost club membership but more importantly enable people to continue to fish and join a club should they wish to:-
Bedlington Station SAC (Bedlington – Northumberland)– 07888674873
Whitburn Angling Club (Whitburn - Tyne & Wear) – Whitburn Angling Club
Cleadon Club (South Shields – Tyne & Wear) – The Cleadon Social Club, South Shields
Seaham Angling Club (Seaham – County Durham) - Seaham Sea Angling Club Home
Jarrow Alberta Sea Angling Club (Jarrow – Tyne & Wear) – North East Sea Angling Club | South Tyneside Sea Angling Club | Jarrow Alberta
Blyth SAC - Gordon Cavno, Chairman 01670 352590
South Beach Residents Association Angling Club – www. Home - South Beach Residents Association Angling Club
Seaton Sluice Angling Club – Seaton Sluice Angling Club or contact micky.bell@seatonsluiceac.co.uk
Longbenton & seaton burn SAC – www.lsbsac.co.uk
South Shields & District SAC - https://www.facebook.com/SouthShield...SeaAnglingClub
Any information before Thursday pm can be added to this and I apologise if I have missed out any clubs or if there is better contact details as very few people seem eager to help elsewhere but instead prefer to come up with crazy conspiracy theories. For the few on here who don't know me I work for get hooked on fishing which is a national charity should anyone question where i work or what I'm doing it for.
Cheers
Darren
