It is what they call a Super Moon this weekend. A "Super moon" is when the moon swings in closer than its normal orbit to the Earth. This weekend sees the full moon and perigee close together giving rise to a "Super moon" and the biggest tide of the year. Enjoy your fishing lads and if you are out around LW it may be worth doing a reccy of your favourite marks to see where all those gulleys are. Tight lines.

Sure are big tides but if i remember rightly there was a bigger tide earlier in the year of 6m.nxt weeks are just short of that at 5-7.could be wrong tho.as you say great foe picking your marks out.enjoyComment
