Can't go wrong with the anyfish anywhere six and bait, I've had the 13' for ages and just got the 14', I love them.

They cast miles with a Surfblaster and braid on and they're a really strong rod, bite detection is good and they don't cost too much.

There's a new Leeda Icon out as well, the FS-Sport.

I don't know what they're like, but I had an M-Sport, and they're really decent rods.

Thats exactly what i was planning on getting the six and bait my mate has the multiplier version with a 525 and he can't half knock it out, was also looking at the surfblaster and the affinity 8000 lc do you prefer the 13 or the 14ft?

Agree with both of the above but ther will be many more. Surfblaster is fine. Just use a cannon release trigger to get the best out of it with no sore finger ends.

I've only just got the 14, but already it casts further (if you're after distance) I've got a Surfblaster 7000, but probably should have got the 8000.

            I use a finger stall
