Just bought this old rod the other day for the princely sum of £20 . Its in very good condition, 12ft 6ins with i would say original eyes and whipping and its got over half an inch of spigot left. Iv had a few casts on the field with it ( before thunderstorm stopped play ) using a 5oz lead and a simple off the ground cast and i would say getting about 140 yds with it without much effort so well chuffed . But i cant find any info on it , other tigers yes but not this one . So thought id ask you guys if you know what type of ground , casting weight etc its capable of . Cheers

I had a 215t in the 80s and being 12ft 6 was an ideal rod for the pier,my mate had a 255 ts and used it all over the country in every type of ground, hegave it to a junior called shaun and he is still using it today were good rods in the 80s. davy.PB

Well worth your £20! Had the same model as my first ever 'proper' fishin rod at the start of the 90s. As mentioned your best off using it as a pier rod I would think. A bit out gunned compared to the new rods. Bite detection wasn't great but it was fairly stiff so certainly not bad for what you paid!"In order to becomes old and wise, first you must be young and stupid."
