Yeh I agree wid yah there, sometimes use the hiflex m427 butt with my gt tip,but it makes it a bit long 15ft+ just a bit much,I find the bullet at 13ft a bit short,i like rods around 14ft ish..

It has to be the M4 Evo for me.

I've had no probs with it pulling the lead out in a big sea and I find
              the bite ditection great.

I keep my rod at an angle & with a slight bend in the tip so u can see the smallest of bites or a slack liner.

Just wanting to know peoples opinion on ZippleX rods. I'm looking for an "all rounder" maybe something abit softer even, such as Century's TTLD ?????

                  STEVEO.
Steve, "if its not broke why fix it". However, the perfect "Zziplex all rounder" imo is my trusty M427. The one thing that sets all Zziplex rods apart from other makes "imo"is that you can feel everything from the tip downwards to the butt. Few lads over the years have said that no two rods are the same as they come of the mandrel, which I agree. However, each rod is unique and does its job/depending on the person using it/ground etc may not be for them once purchased hence they sell them on. Getting back to the 427, the Zziplex's I use are for rough stuff/occasional clean to mixed, so this rod performs exactly to the specs: smooth action, tip is sensitive, backbone to pull a cod through kelp but very user friendly. Hope this may sway you to purchase your first Zziplex, try one before you buy one as they say. I have a few and each one performs beautifully to each aspect of my fishing. So you welcome to try one out. A Few lads on here have owned them for years and still buy them year in and year out which is a true testament to the integrity and build of Terry's/Chris dance rods.

Have a trip to frasers in gateshead. Was in picking up my new blank yesterday and he has a few in and more on order.
The bass lite looks particularly nice! Someone had a txl evo to pick up! Omg that will be a beast.

Forgot to say I have a mint m427 in the for sale section!

Zzippies are coming through quick at the moment. By quick I mean less than 2 months!! Off the top of my head he has an m427, 427 su, txl, txl gt, m4 evo, bass lite in at the moment. Zeteque stds and gts I think are coming.

m4 evo all the way for me, used mine everywhere up Northumberland and in the tyne. Sat fine in the tide, the butt had a bit of 'give' but was defo not soft and I had no problem with the bite detection. One of the best 'all round' rods made.
                              Regards Nicky.
