Anyone give me directions to safe marks at the Mull, from the Lighthouse Carpark.
    Cheers Lads.

Wimpy option Hiram, but get back in the car and head up to Port Patrick. Loads of good marks, good variety of species to catch and no sh*tty climb. I don\'t know if it\'s still available on this new site, but Alan Charltons \"Guide to Port Patrick\" on the old NESA site was superb. PM me for a copy if it\'s not available as I saved it to my hard drive (hope thats OK Alan?)

East and West Tarbit just before you get to the car park are a bit safer and can produce as well.

Fish these area\'s with the bairn, can still be a bit dodgy at times but alot safer than the Mull end,in fact there\'s some nice platforms (rock) to fish from on the East side,as Rob says Port Logan is worth a shot and the harbour wall can produce as good as anywhere else at times try bottom fishing here if the lures etc are slow chance of Cod and Conger in the rock and kelp beds or Isle Of Whithorn area\'s,St Ninians Cave is worth a look, canny walk to the Sea from the farm if its wet, worth travelling light here it might not be suitable for less energetic peeps nice flat walk but can get a bit sloppy under foot if its been raining so decent shoes or boots are a must, enjoy the area if the fishing is slow .

Richy let me know how you get on..I\'m going up the Whithorn area for the week with the family. Went there last year and it was alive with Pollack, mackeral and wrasse - only used the float/spinning gear.
