went spinning on friday after work down at shields pier, tried before the blocks, after the blocks and on the end casting towards tyneside pier. nothing yet again. tried with spinners and also daylights but to no avail. Never mind it was a lovelly night. There was quite a few fishing around the first gate area. One lad had what looked like a nice sized place from just past the first gate.
