    Afternoon, has anyone on here fished Terally bay on luce bay looks like good access and practically fiash from your car, just i will be taking my sons with me and dont want to hike all our gear miles, plus we may be sleeping in the car so need somewhere close to car to fish from.
    target of 10 codling this season and gonna try for a pig!!!!1

    It's a great place to fish can get plagued with dogfish but plenty other species can turn up and there should be no problem sleeping in the car there

      Ah thats champion, cheers Nicky i am sure the kids will love catching dogfish.

        Fished i laods of times, its dogfish crazy...also had wrasse, small coalie, small flatfish and heard of tope and bass being caught but not had nay myself, ow and mackerel

          Good chance of hounds there to crab mate if your there on big tides maybe tope on the night time tides

            spot on cheers for the reply, might get amongst the mackerel then, without six ounce leads flying past our heads attached to lines of daylights!!!!!!

              The rocks to the left can throw up some nice Pollack and the odd Bass with lures,fish 3 down-3 up.....

                  Yes it can be dogfish city at times with all of the above species mentioned. A lot of guys plump for the middle of the beach but I have found it better toward either end. Lures worth a go for the bass at either end of the bay.

                  There are public toilets at New England Bay which is the next bay to the north. Just pull in at the NE Bay sign,drive forward about 50 yds and you will see the toilets on the left.

                  You can get a good breakfast in Mariners Coffee Shop in Drummore and they have WIFI. Say Snatcher sent you and i will get "brownie points" lol

                  We head over with 2 of our grandsons on Saturday and will be staying at our static van on the Clashwhannon site for about 3 weeks (van no 5) Feel free to call in for a cuppa/bit of advice.

                    ah that's a great offer cheers John we hopefully be heading up in around a fortnights time so may just pop in for a quick cuppa and some advice. Cheers

                      There is a nice little camping area on the Clash site down by the shore for those who do not know. Think its £6pppn ? Best book in advance in case busy though http://www.clashwhannoncaravanpark.co.uk/
