I'll second that used to love going to Dunstanburgh Castle would fish it throughout the year. Then just got totally disheartened due to the amount of rubbish being left used to fill 3 or 4 carry bags every trip so stopped visiting keep telling myself I'll have to have a trip up but would I be happy with what I found I doubt it very much. Always wondered why the National Trust and English Heritage didn't place a ban on anglers from using there property to gain access to the area.
Nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught

sadly a reoccurring problem all over the country in both fresh and salt water, authorities need to act, especially at 'hot spots" for this kind of activity, scruffy, dirty, lazy b*****ds !

4 weeks ago I was saying I can't believe the difference from my usual s*** hole shots in hartlepool, I've been dreaming of the place since and I'm devostated its going the same way.the biggest shame is that the national trust would stop us all from crossing their land if the offenders were to accidentally slip and fall in.we need to tell them, instead of just cleaning up after them though, it doesn't take Einstein to work out who the winners are in that situation.as for the undersized fish, stand there and watch them like a hawk and throw their fish back for them!
