  • Blyth pier ( sorted at last)

At last they have finally sorted the end of Blyth Pier, the fence has been put back to how it was before they decided to block it off with the razor wire, they must have seen sense with the kids breaking up from school today, no rod rests now at the end, and somewhere to put your wind break up in the winter time
May the holes in your net be no larger than the fish in it.

Down at the pier this morning 05.00,fishing was slow/dead,the pier will be canny when its finished on the end, noticed they left the metal rods lying around on the pier i was surprised they were still there. Not sure whether the Harbour is being thoughtful to the young\'uns or maybe its for insurance, whatever the reason for it its made it alot safer for the kids.
                        Cheers Alan...
