New fishing mark advise........ Tunisia

Off for a week to Tunisia next sat and was just wondering if anyone ever fished out there ? I have managed to borrow a telescopic spin rod and was thinking of heading to the beach at dawn . Any one got any thoughts or advice ?

Hi I was over in Skanes in Feb and whilst beach combing I saw locals fishing on the local beaches using big telescopic rods with small 1-3 oz leads and small size 10-12 hooks baited with what I presume were bunches of maddies which were dug locally.They were only catching small what looked couch bream, of course NOTHING went back!!!!

Hope this may give you an insight on how to go on.

joe went over with a well known journalist
the pair of them are not very bright at all,any way they took of at newcastle airport, at 12 midnight,and were supposed to be arriving 12 noon,
however 1 hour into the flight, there was an all mighty banging noise,what the hell was that says joe , the tannoy comes on and the pilot speaks dont worry , engine number 4 has failed, wee will be delayed for 1 hour ,
the angling journalist says great , our taxi wont wait for us joe,
dont worry says joe,another bang goes of , the pilot comes on the tannoy again and says dont worry,engine number 3 has failed wee will be delayed for a further 3 hours , but wee have 2 good engines left
joe says, to his mate, looks like wee will miss our lunch time meal as well now,

a hour goes by and there is another allmighty bang, the pilot comes on the tannoy dont worry engine 2 ,
has failed wee will be delayed 5 hours,
the angling journalist turns to joe and says hope engine number 1 does not fail , why said joe , the jounalist replies because wee will be up here all neet

That's not what happened at all, Joe told me the true story. After the second engine failed Joe went up to the cockpit and told the pilot he was clueless, shoved the pilot out of the way and landed the plane himself.
