Are these hooks still available? I've not seen them in years, though I tend to only use a couple of shops. Used to be my dad's favourite hook for flatty fishing, last time I can remember buying any is maybe the late 1980's.

dunno, still got a few boxes of tinned kirby hooks I use to to tie up small daylites and streamery type flies for mackeral.
cracking hooks IMHO, hook ups are almost guaranteed and nearly always lip hooked as wellʎɐqǝ uo pɹɐoqʎǝʞ ɐ ʎnq ı ǝɯıʇ ʇsɐן ǝɥʇ sı sıɥʇ.
Thought for the day:
Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but bring a smile to your face when thrown down the stairs
Converting an MFV Fifie trawler type thing.

Cheers Mark, I'll have a hunt around but will give you a shout if I can't find any... I've got some odd grey coloured bricks that I got off my brother when his place removed some large equipment, maybe sort out a trade for a few hooks and a trip in the summer for a couple of them...
