Zenith do the job for me and always found the best place to float fish on any pier is the water either side of it, saying that fished on the pier a few times and had a tab end fish, fosters fish, sh.t fish and a condom fish once hell of a fight on the way in but once in handle with gloves or you will be catching the herpes fish hope this helps 😜😜😜

Zenith minnows.... Best general spinner going. All the lads in the lure section agree mate!!!

Float fish close to the blocks at high slack water ,or the second gate area. Also the wheel can float fish well over high on the inside of the pier. Colies, maccy, wrasse and pollock to rag and fish baits.

Oz and a half sprat type lead pirks or stingers theyre called sometimes do really well. Somebody was selling them on the locker for 50p each. At high water they sometimes shoal up before the first gate. I've often walked past people catching down there and blanked myself at the end
